Interpolation

Interpolation av data kan göras med flera algoritmer:

  • linjär

  • polynom (om antal datapunkter < 100)

  • Kubisk spline

  • Kubisk spline (periodisk)

  • Akima-spline

  • Akima-spline (periodisk)

  • Steffen-spline (kräver GSL ≥ 2.0)

  • cosinus

  • exponent

  • styckvis kubisk Hermite (finit skillnad, Catmull-Rom, kardinal, Kochanek-Bartels)

  • rationella funktioner

Interpolationsfunktionen beräknas med angivet antal datapunkter n och utvärderas som:

  • funktion

  • derivata

  • andraderivata

  • integral (med början på noll)
