Menus and Shortcut Keys

Edit → Edit Feed... (F2): Edit current feed to change its properties in the Properties dialog
Edit → Delete feed (Alt+Delete): Delete current feed

View → Normal View (Ctrl+Shift+1), View → Widescreen View (Ctrl+Shift+2) and View → Combined View (Ctrl+Shift+3): Choose the View Mode for Akregator
View → Increase Font Sizes (Ctrl++): Increase the font size in the article viewer
View → Decrease Font Sizes (Ctrl+-): Decrease the font size in the article viewer

Go → Previous Article (Left): Go to the previous article in the article list
Go → Previous Unread Article (-): Go to the previous unread article in the article list
Go → Next Article (Right): Go to the next article in the article list
Go → Next Unread Article (+): Go to the next unread article in the article list
Go → Previous Feed (P): Go to the previous feed in the feed list
Go → Previous Unread Feed (Alt+-): Go to the previous unread feed in the feed list
Go → Next Feed (N): Go to the next feed in the feed list
Go → Next Unread Feed (Alt++): Go to the next unread feed in the feed list

Feed → Add Feed... (Insert): Open the Add Feed dialog
Feed → New Folder... (Shift+Insert): Open the Add Folder dialog
Feed → Mark Feed as Read (Ctrl+R): Mark the current feed as read
Feed → Mark All Feeds as Read (Ctrl+Shift+R): Mark all feeds as already read
Feed → Fetch Feed (F5): Fetch the current feed
Feed → Fetch All Feeds (Ctrl+L): Fetch all feeds
Feed → Abort Fetches (Escape): Stop Akregator fetching feeds

Article → Open in Tab (Shift+Return): Open the current article in a tab within Akregator
Article → Open in External Browser. (Ctrl+Shift+Return): Open the current article in an external browser
Article → Mark as Important (Ctrl+I): Mark the current article as important
Article → Mark as: Mark the current article as Read, New or Unread
Article → Delete (Delete): Delete the current article
Article → Send Link Address...: Open your mail client and attach the link in the mail.
Article → Send File...: Open your mail client and attach the file in the mail.

Settings → Toolbars Shown

Toggle the toolbars

Settings → Show Menubar (Ctrl+M)

Toggle the menubar. To display a hidden menubar press the shortcut Ctrl+M.

Settings → Show Quick Filter

Toggle the Quick Filter (Show/Hide it)

Settings → Configure Shortcuts...

Open standard KDE setting dialog that allows you to choose different shortcut keys for different actions

Settings → Configure Toolbars...

Configure the items you want to put in the toolbar

Settings → Configure Notifications...

Display the Notifications Settings dialog

Settings → Configure Akregator...

Display the Akregator settings dialog

Help → Akregator Handbook (F1): Invokes the KDE Help system starting at the Akregator help pages. (this document).
Help → What's This? (Shift+F1): Changes the mouse cursor to a combination arrow and question mark. Clicking on items within Akregator will open a help window (if one exists for the particular item) explaining the item's function.
Help → Report Bug...: Opens the Bug report dialog where you can report a bug or request a “wishlist” feature.
Help → Switch Application Language...: Opens a dialog where you can edit the Primary language and Fallback language for this application.
Help → About Akregator: This will display version and author information.
Help → About KDE: This displays the KDE version and other basic information.
