QIF ExporterTo export one of your accounts to a QIF file, choose the → → menu item. You will be prompted for which single account to export, what file to export it to, and what QIF Profile to use.
Note
The QIF Exporter does not handle export of investment accounts. It may appear to work, and will produce an output file, but that file will not include any actual data.
The QIF Exporter uses QIF Profiles in a similar way as the QIF Importer, but it uses the information in the Profile to format the QIF file being written, rather than to interpret the file being read. Parallel to the importer, you can use a custom written filter program. There is a separate field on the Filter Tab of the QIF Profile editor for an output filter, so you can use the same QIF Profile for both importing and exporting, but use a separate filter for the two processes.
